Blackjack Betting System: Martingale Progressive

The most popular and riskiest blackjack betting system in the progressive wing is the Martingale system. It is what rabid risk takers would probably enjoy in blackjack adventurism.

Winning and entertainment are the twin goals players often seek in blackjack. Among the two the first is the non-optional desire. Thus, to ensure winning, players are mostly prepared with the latest winning tactic, strategy, or system available to get as much winnings in the game as possible—and that would be fun.

Play and betting strategies help us in beating house odds which is often slightly higher than those allotted players. Players who rely on raw skill and luck have not much chance in winning in casino or online blackjack. Doubling down, splitting, and card counting strategies, for instance, are good play strategies that pave the way for successful launchings of betting strategies.

But even strategies are not enough. We need something more solid, like working systems to base our strategies on. Techniques may work some but remain weak without structures or systems through which they can be linked with other necessary components. Systems link play and betting strategies. Hence, good strategies like hitting, doubling, standing, and splitting need to be seen against a backdrop of concepts of wins, losses and probabilities.

Martingale is a progressive system of betting belonging to the negative wing because betting goes on progressively in a losing trend. We double our bets as we lose. But once we win, we go back to the original bet—we down-size our bets to what we bet at first. Martingale is actually a mathematical process.

Hence, if we bet $2 at a minimum table and lose, our next bet is $4. If we lose again, we bet $8. And then $16 and then $32. This goes on until we hit a win. With this system we have to have a huge bankroll and bet minimum so we can stay in the game for long. If we lose at $32 we bet again with $64. But if we win at that point we win $64, recovering our previous $32 and gaining $32 more.

Then, after having our losing trend broken by a $64 win, we bet with $2 again and do progressive bets as we have done previously. This secures our winnings after a struggle of trying to beat our losses in a row.

The Martingale blackjack betting system initially involves continuous high risks but eventually secures winnings.
