Blackjack Betting System: Paroli Progressive

Aside from the usual blackjack play strategies that has been proven to work, like card counting, there are betting strategies that increase our winnings, like splitting, doubling down, and the so-called progressive betting where bets are progressively increased or decreased.

These play and bet strategies plus the progressive betting tactics all work in different betting systems which are of two different types: positive and negative. The Martingale blackjack betting system is like the mother of all blackjack betting systems. It is a negative system because it advocates increased bet amounts while losing and regular bet amounts while winning. Martingale's counterpart is the Paroli blackjack betting system that works the opposite of Martingale.

The Paroli system works this way. We always start with the lowest bet possible. If our first hand wins we increase the next bet for the next hand play. If we lose in any round we use the same bet amount when we started. The Paroli betting system gathers our winnings in a pyramid betting structure. We erect our betting plan on the foundation of our winnings and with taking advantage of winnings streaks that are likely to occur during sessions.

The Paroli system plays our betting safely, advancing slowly with an increasing betting pattern as wins register. This safely secures winnings as we poise ourselves to win more. A loss is isolated immediately with the return to the original bet. A preplanned betting attack should be in place before beginning a blackjack session.

Knowing the trend of casino blackjack, we should know better than have a bet increase-spree during the session. Our preplanned betting attack should have a limit to prevent a sudden decline of profits once the losing trend starts. The usual tactic in this system is to have a limited thread of bet increases and then return abruptly to the original bet. So, for instance, after winning straight 4 times, we return to the original bet on the 5th game.

Of course, all the above depend on a lot of other factors, like the blackjack type we're playing (minimum, medium, or maximum betting rules), the dealer's up card, and the number of cards out and in the deck.

The Paroli blackjack betting system has a no-nonsense betting scheme that pushes aggressively but goes easy on a loss or on its wining streak. It shows enough discipline on its winnings to ensure safe-keeping of the profits while the bankroll stays steady during the game session.
